Intrepid Studios is seeking an experienced Technical Producer who is passionate about MMOs to lead the planning, management and completion of all technical projects and work closely with Production to help bring our highly ambitious project to life in the most efficient manner possible!

Responsibilities

  • Establish, coordinate, track, and manage the activities of project resources to ensure that project tasks are completed in a timely manner, within scope, and at expected quality
  • Determine and communicate schedules, status, updates, major decisions, risks, and blockages
  • Evaluate internal processes and implement improvements as required
  • Facilitate collaborative review processes between stakeholders and team members
  • Cultivate relationships in order to drive a project forward
  • Work closely with game teams and provide oversight of the master schedule to help manage team resources
  • Follow processes to capture change requests, communicate impact, request stakeholder decisions, and execute changes as applicable
  • Determine requirements for work effort from project stakeholders to build clear and concise project schedules and plans
  • Identify, track, manage, and resolve issues attributed to both internal and external factors
  • Provide motivation and clear direction to ensure that project goals, objectives, milestones, and deliverables are achieved
  • Lead and drive status meetings to be as functional and efficient as possible
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing technical projects
  • Knowledge of project management software and Agile methodology
  • Comfortable working in new or ambiguous areas where learning and adaptability are necessary
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
  • Administrative knowledge and experience of Jira and Confluence with hands on experience in setting up projects, dashboards, reporting capabilities, and custom JQL filters.
  • Knowledge of IT systems and terminology
  • Game Industry specific experience and a passion for MMOs
Pluses
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Software Engineer, or equivalent work experience
  • PMP Certification
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Expertise navigating internal relationships to optimize efficiency
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve pipelines, overall efficiency and transparency
  • Work within JIRA to establish a simplistic snapshot of status and progress of every project to accuracy and proper maintenance.
  • Work with the teams to keep a one-year roadmap established every quarter, i.e. continually work ahead to improve production and efficiency

The Legal Bits:
We offer competitive pay based on market standards plus a significant annual bonus structure. The base salary for this role is between $85,000 - $136,000, depending on skills and experience. Individual compensation decisions are based on a number of factors, including experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company. We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at our company to fall throughout the range based on these factors.
