Associate Producer

Production - San Diego, CA - Full Time

Intrepid Studios is looking for a detail-oriented self-starter with sound judgment and strong analytical skills for our Associate Producer role. The ideal candidate is passionate about gaming with excellent communication and organizational skills. This role will be based out of our San Diego office.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation, estimation, and tracking of major milestones, features, tasks, and bugs
  • Set and attend studio meetings, take detailed notes, determine and delegate action items, and set follow up meetings
  • Help to facilitate communication, organization, and accountability across multiple development teams
  • Work closely with other producers and leadership to communicate project status and identify risks
  • Identify, communicate, and help to resolve roadblocks in the development pipeline
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to guide features from concept to implementation
  • Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • A minimum of one (1) year experience in a game production role
  • Familiarity with game development processes
  • Experience working in a fast paced development environment supporting multiple teams
  • Extraordinary communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong project management and problem solving skills
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence project management tools
  • Knowledge of Google Tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft tools (e.g. Visio, Project, Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.)
Additional Considerations
  • Experience as a designer, engineer, or artist (big plus!)
  • Knowledge of Unreal Engine 4 and/or 5

The Legal Bits:

We offer competitive pay based on market standards plus a significant annual bonus structure. The base salary for this role is between $66,000 - $99,000, depending on skills and experience. Individual compensation decisions are based on a number of factors, including experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company. We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at our company to fall throughout the range based on these factors.
